Monday, April 6th - Thursday, April 9th

Reminders:
-Stay safe and healthy! Don't forget to get up and moving; enjoy the nice weather outside!
-I will be available by email during school hours (8:30-3:30): rachel.wilcox@springbranchisd.com. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything at all!

In Class:
*Do NOT worry about the digital backpack for social studies at this time.

*I will be holding regular Zoom meetings on Fridays from 9:30-10am. These are NOT mandatory, and you do NOT have to stay the whole time. Please feel free to pop in and out as needed.  It is just a time to ask questions and check in  =)
*These plans cover this whole week! You just need to complete this by Thursday (4/9); you don't need to rush and finish everything in one or two days; take your time =)
*This coming weekend is a holiday weekend, so that is why the plans will end on 4/9 and not pick up again next week until 4/14.

1.Asia Maps
-Look at the political map of Asia and the physical map of Asia.
-What do you notice about these two different types of maps for this new cultural area? What do you already know? What is new to you?

-You can use these maps as a reference as we continue through Asia.

2. Asia Landforms and Weather
-Use this google doc to learn about the different landforms and weather patterns in Asia.

-Several slides have videos linked through the titles.  Make sure to watch these videos too so that you have a better understanding of these particular landforms and weather patterns.
-IF you would like to take notes or print a copy of my notes for yourself, you can use the last four slides.  *This is OPTIONAL; you do NOT have to take notes!
-You can use this information as a reference as we continue through Asia.
